It is hard to believe that zippers are used in Fish Farms, however this is one of the applications for Paskal's PK20 zipper. The PK20 zipper is the sturdiest and most durable zipper produced by Paskal zippers and it is used in the harshest and most extreme environments.
In the Aquaculture industry Paskal's PK20 zipper is used to fasten cage parts, fishing nets and cage access doors quickly and securely.
In some large cages, the nets may be divided into two identical halves by the PK20 zipper to facilitate the handling of the net cage during installation and removal.
In submerged cages the PK20 zipper is used for two additional purposes:
1. To connect nets creating an opening in the net so divers can enter the underwater cage for inspection or maintenance.
2. To connect the cage top-net to the cage wall at the top part of the cage.
